About

This is an example page. It’s different from a blog post because it will stay in one place and will show up in your site navigation (in most themes). Most people start with an About page that introduces them to potential site visitors. It might say something like this:

Hi there! My dog’s name is Astro, and this is his blog. Astro lost his front left leg due to osteosarcoma, and I want to share his canine cancer treatment plan and progress to help others going through the same thing

…or something like this:

Woof! My name is Daisy. I am a two year old German Shepherd rescued from a neglectful home after losing my right rear leg from being tied up on a chain all my life. I’m much better off now am here to prove to others that it’s better to hop on three legs than to limp on four!

  1. Hi, My golden retrievers name is Honey
Her elbow joint did not develop properly and she was left with elbow dysplasia. As the months went by she was limping more and seemed to be in a lot of pain. The swelling got very bad after walks. Soon she hated going for walks which was so sad as she was under a year. We eventually were told after many consultations that she was not a candidate for a full elbow replacement or for fusion of the joint. Our only option to give Honey back a full pain free life that she deserves was amputation. At first I was in shock and upset and really couldn’t think about doing that to my 15 month old pup. But seeing her in pain broke my heart so the difficult decision was made and a week ago today Honey had surgery. The first two days were the hardest but slowly she and us are coming to terms with it and helping Honey through these difficult few weeks will be challenging but I know also will be rewarding as she will be running around pain free.
